WatchGuard XTM-22 Not Working

Good Day,
We have a WatchGuard XTM-22 at one our schools and it is not working - we have no internet access for any device on our network.
Here is the setup for this unit:

Port 0 - Main internet feed
Port 1 - to our internal network
Port 2 - Mgmt
Port 3-  Another internet feed DSL
Port 4 - unused
Port 5 - Another internet feed DSL

(We have very limited / poor internet speeds available in this remote community.  The IT Consultant before we took over was able to configure the unit to use the internet feeds from Ports 0 and 5, which is all that could be used at the time.  Port 3 feed is redundant and can be used as a backup for port 5 by switch cables).

Right now, here is the status of the lights on the front of the WatchGuard unit, going from left to right:

Failover:  Flashing green
WAP:  Off

Ports 5,4,3:  Both Link and 100/1000 lights off
Ports 2,1,0:  Both Link and 100/1000 lights flashing green in unison

Status:  Solid Red
Attn:  Solid Orange
Mode;  Flashing Green
Power:  Solid Green

I have tried to connect my laptop via RJ45 cable directly to Port 2 to access the unit, but there is no activity on this link and I don't get a DHCP address.   Web browser access to both the external IP and internal IP addresses won't work either.

Any suggestions on what is causing this problem?  I have no experience with this particular unit and the network setup is quite convoluted - five VLANs.  I think there is a backup config file from about a year ago.

Any ideas and suggestions are very greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

ASKER

An update on my problem - I am unable to reset the unit to Factory Default Settings.  Tried three times following the WatchGuard instructions, held the Reset button for over 3 minutes and 4 minutes (they say it takes about 75 seconds to reset).  Going to leave it for tonight and come back tomorrow and try again.
In the meantime any suggestions are welcome.
Thanks,
Ron.
Futher update.  Tried resetting the unit several times again, after 4 minutes the Attn light still won't come on to indicate a reset has been done.

Now when I power the unit up, here are the lights that are lit:
Ports 2,1,0 have both Link and 100/1000 lit
Power light is lit
All other lights are off.

Plugging a regular CAT5 patch cable as well as a crossover patch cable into port 1 does nothing.
I believe this unit is most likely fried....

While it is tough to say what is happening; sometimes the unit do not reset properly.

Though you have already gone through this but here is the setup process again [look for XTM22]:
http://www.watchguard.com/help/docs/fireware/11/en-US/Content/en-US/backup_upgrade_recovery/recovery_procedures_c.html

I would power down the unit; wait for some 60 seconds; then press the reset button; with the reset button pressed, power the unit up. Wait for some 60 seconds; let go the reset button now.
Connect a laptop with DHCP enabled to port 1; and laptop should get IP automatically from XTM22. If yes, the unit is reset.

Earlier, there used to be cable loop which could reset the device; not sure if it still works; power the unit down, connect port 0 and port 1 with a cable, power unit up; wait for 60 seconds or so till the lights start to flash.

If nothing; then may be call WG support once before tossing the unit in trash.

Let know how it goes!
dpk_wal, thank you for your suggestions.  Unfortunately none of them worked, the unit must be fried.  I have given up on trying to resuscitate it and have bypassed it for now.  I was planning on replacing the unit anyways, but it decided to commit suicide before I could do that.
Sorry for the long delay in replying, I have been off work for over a week now.  Again, thanks for your reply and and your help, it is appreciated.
