Safe to install both and Parallels & VMware on same Mac Sierra v. 10.12.6 OS?

Are there any problems or issues with using both and Parallels & VMware on same Mac Sierra v. 10.12.6 operating system?

Can both of these programs be run at the same time within the same Mac OS?

I would not even try. Both are virtualizing applications and put their fingers deep into networking. It probably will not work. Pick one or the other.

Interesting and thank you for that. I would have thought the network components would collide.
and just to through another one into the mix, we have Oracle Virtualbox as well.
Good information - Thank you.

Andrew Hancock,

Are you able to run both VMware and Parallels at the same time within your Mac OS without any issues?
Yes, that's what I wrote.

Providing you have enough CPU and Memory for the VMs you are running.

although why you would want to run Fusion, compared to Parallels is another question!
