Yes, some BIOS ask for a 'authorization code'. After performing the above steps,
Select 'BIOS setup>Select the Advanced menu>Select Boot Options>Clear the 'UEFI boot' box and tick the 'Legacy boot' box.
Select Save and then Exit.

UEFI's "secure boot" feature pretty-much rules out booting from any device other than the primary (master) HDD.
Once you have turn off "Secure Boot", then you can choose "legacy boot" settings. These will allow you to boot from devices other than just the primary HDD.

You can generally bypass BIOS or UEFI passwords with physical access to the computer. This is easiest on a desktop computer that’s designed to be opened. The password is stored in volatile memory, powered by a small battery. Reset the BIOS settings and you’ll reset the password — you can do this with a jumper or by removing and reinserting the battery. Follow our guide to clearing your computer’s CMOS to reset a BIOS password.https://www.howtogeek.com/186235/how-to-secure-your-computer-with-a-bios-or-uefi-password/

For info
f the computer supports the "Connected Standby" feature of Windows 8 (which allows devices to have power management comparable to smartphones, with an almost instantaneous return from standby mode), then the firmware is not permitted to contain a Compatibility Support Module (CSM). As such, systems that support Connected Standby are incapable of booting Legacy BIOS operating systems.

Well, according to this user manual: http://support.elmark.com.pl/advantech/pdf/ASMB-822Iman.pdf page 60 you don't have the Secure Boot disable/enable feature.
