Here's what I would do. ( I don't recall 100% how to do this in 1.5 as that's ancient ).<br />
Go to the User Manager and find this new webmaster user.<br />
Ensure his text-editor is set to not filter out the tags &lt;script&gt; and &lt;/script&gt;.<br />

The code you are seeing is JavaScript/jQuery and the tags are being stripped out. The code isn't ...so that's good, you didn't lose that, but you need to somehow get the &lt;script&gt;&lt;/script&gt; tags un-filtered and the add then back in.

Hi All,

Our new web master decided to open the Joomla HTML editor on one of our Articles.  This messed up our buttons and now the web page shows a bunch of code underneath it.  Please see attached image.
