I have a Dell PowerEdge R730XD Windows 2012 Standard server tag number HDXG082 and a APC Smart-UPS SMX2000RMLV2U<br />
<br />
I came in this morning and I hear a high pitch sound coming from either the server or APC which are right next to each other<br />
<br />
I shutdown the server and unplugged both power supplies that are on the server to see if this would stop the high pitch<br />
it did not, I did this because I was thinking maybe my controller is going out.<br />

I'm thinking it maybe my APC.<br />
