Remote App Error

I have a server 2012 R2 and have RDS installed. Its a single server that has all the roles, DC, DHCP, DNS, File, RDS, i installed a 90day cert from comodo . If i go to a windows 7 machine and go to https://rds.domain.com/RDWeb and login when i run an app i get this error
"Your computer can't connect to the remote computer because the Remote Desktop Gateway server is temporarily unavailable" Try Reconnecting later or contact experts-exchange for assistance. "

If i do this from the server itself the apps open fine.

Do you have different FQDN for Internal and external?

yes. Internal is server1.domain.local and external is rds.domain.com

Also under RD Gateway Manager > Server Properties > Server Farm i see it shows my server is unreachable. I removed and re added using FQDM and same thing. I also tried the external domain and same issue.

i edited the Hosts files and added the rds.domain.com and pointed to the internal IP and same issue.

Hi,

More likely its an issue with the certificates. Hope you imported the certificates correctly to the Remote Desktop Gateway Manager and the certificates.

Also Is the subject alternative name is same as your "rds.domain.com" and is it a wild card certificate?

its not a wild card cert. I did import the cert in iis and RD Gateway Manager

i rebooted the server and the server farm issue is fixed. But i still get the same error message.
