Windows XP Display Settings Multi Monitors

Windows XP Display Settings Multi Monitors loses settings during restart.  Is there a setting in the registry that can be modified so that XP retains these settings rather than resetting each day.  Drivers are up to date.

This should only reset if, on boot, XP can't detect the monitors - either because they are powered down or can't be identified using EDID through the cable connecting it (especially true of analog monitors connected through VGA).  If monitors can't be enumerated by plug and play then your previous settings will be dropped.  You might need to generate a specific monitor.inf file specifying the devices to get this to work everytime.

This worked, now everytime I restart the display settings remain via GPO.
