Actually we don't have EVC enabled..<br />
The vms with hardware version 9 work but the ones with 7 or 8 don't migrate until I upgrade the hardware....<br />
So just was wondering if the only way or the best way to do this is to power off the vms, upgrade the hardware, then power them back on..<br />
I really did not want to have to power off each vm...

Ok that's what I thought just wanted to be sure there was no other way around it like via the EVC but then I realized that is just for CPU differences...

Hardware on vms needs upgraded
