Facebook Settings for Mostly Professional Purposes

I have one Facebook account and would like to talk with someone via chat who knows about how to properly configure Facebook, so that it can be used for professional, personal, as well as to sell products.

I currently have this page https://www.facebook.com/ted.penner.7 that is supposed to be my professional Facebook presence and people, even "friends" complain that they can't see anything at all.

1. I would like to be able to have a professional view as the default available at that URL to all the public.

2. I would also like to promote a video designed to sell a product from my website to a Facebook audience that cannot see any of my personal contacts such as so-called "friends" or "acquaintances".

Assistance is greatly appreciated.

I don't think you can turn a personal page into a 'business' page.  Here is some info on business pages: https://www.facebook.com/help/search?query=business%20page&ref=contextual

The way I understand it now, the account must be personal which is the first URL that you are given.

Then you can have specific "pages" which can be business or service related.

Is that a good understanding?

How do I get someone qualified to help me really dive in via real-time messaging with screensharing?
