Account Unkown - User Profiles - RDS Servers
Dear EE
Please, can someone assist me.
I am in the process of cleaning my RDS servers. Under user profiles, I have a lot of "Account Unknowns". Can these be safely deleted?
I am a bit skeptical to just delete them in case they are linked to an active user's profile.
See attached image.
Thanks in advance.

Not directly related to answering your question necessarily as the above poster did so already, but it might be worth looking into redirecting user profiles elsewhere, and setting a policy to clear local profiles at logoff, to keep things nice and tidy.

@Maclean - Thank you for your feedback and suggestion. Can you perhaps point me to where I can find more information with regards to doing this?
Some generic input from a fairly well known blogger

Microsoft input on 2008 R2 (Not sure which version you use, they will have 2012/2016 versions too)
Manage User Profiles for Remote Desktop Services
User Profiles on Windows Server 2008 R2 Remote Desktop Services
Best Practice: Roaming Profiles and Folder Redirection (a.k.a. User State Virtualization)
Just found this too which reads interesting.
