So what DO you have?
ASKER
Or within cPanel open php my admin and you should see that database and export it.
yes
this worked
I downloaded a .csv a saw many lines
some are my wordpress website
if I download a .sql file
could I create a new wordpress installation and import .sql file
You can. When you export choose SQL from the options box(should be selected by default) instead of csv.

You can. When you export choose SQL from the options box(should be selected by default) instead of csv.there were 10 choices. I chose csv because I thought it was the most readable
if I download a .sql file
could I create a new wordpress installation and import .sql file
the backup is just the current state
i did not click "backup"
and in a new wordpress installation: where is the "restore"
I understand I lost my images from images folder
Create a new database and user. Assign user to the database. Then import the .sql file.
Next upload Wordpress files to your server and modify the wp-config.php file to reflect the new database name and user credentials. No need to run the install the site will then come up.

Create a new database and user. Assign user to the database.can i use phpMyAdmin or cpanel to create a new user/password with full permissions every time I forget database password
is there a limit on the number of users?
I know that this is not the most secure option but it seems very easy
