radware linkproof bandwidth pricing
RAdware LinkProof Bandwidth
We currently have Radware Linkproof for load balancing of two IPS limited to 100mgbit by Radware license purchased 7 years and currently on maintenance.
Now when we upgraded ISP bandwidth Ethernet from 100mg (use to pay $1.2k per month to 300 mgbit (for $900 per month) and getting 500/500 mgbit FIOS and paying less as bandwidth
Our Linkproof device can handle 4gb just need to get a license for 1008.
Radware is asking for $8000!!!!!! to go from 108 mgbit to 1008 mgbit + additional 1500 maintenance on the top of current 1500
That is totally out of reason as 7 to 10 years ago 100mg was a lot of bandwidth and small companies were using T1 with 1.5mgbit in now days 500/500 is basic for many companies and Radware pricing is still scaled based on 14.4kb modem pricing
For now, I just configured policy based routing on my checkpoint FW for one VLAN to go directly to my primary Ethernet IPS with 300mg
The only reason I am using Radware is for ISP redundancy as in the past T1 use to go down a lot
MY current fiber Ethernet connection is rock solid for a couple of years. I still like to have ISP redundancy on Linkproof even though It could be done Checkpoint but don’t want to pay $8K
I am paying less for CP with 11 blades than Radware is asking for just load balancing
I can probably buy 1008 on the eBay for 1k or 2k and copy my configuration.
I am looking for an Expert (key word expert with experience in both Radware and checkpoint)
Advice on what other cost effective ways to work around the Radware limit or how to get device from ebay to work.
radware
Hardware Version: A.6
Software Version: 6.13.00 attached is a diagram of linkproof concept.
