How to break up an existing Device collection into smaller collections

Hello -

I am trying to deploy an application to a Device Collection (All Devices with x86 Office), however I have over 350 devices and would like to break this device collection into smaller collections for deployment. How can I achieve this within SCCM 2012?

Thank you!

create a new collection set the limiting collection to be the one you have with 350 devices in it. then use either direct or query based membership to narrow it down. (or create an exclusion list if it is smaller)

Then deploy to the new collection.

Great! How would I divide the list in my existing collection? How would I narrow it down?
Something like this is probably what your looking for.

Aside from something like that it would be to manually populate the membership.

What I ended up doing is making a device collection with no perametters. I brought up my existing device collection and selected those that I want to move to new device collection. So I was able to break-up devices into smaller groups for depolyement. Thank you for all your support. I appologize for the delay.
