MacBook: Need a good wireless presenter clicker
I bought this one about a year ago, opened it uf a fews days ago, and learned it had a hardware failure...

I need something like it, from a different manufacturer, that connects through USB or BT.
I need it to have at least:
1) a laser pointer
2) Up / Down arrows
And it must function well on a Mac.
Suggestions?
Thanks

I think I'll shop at Best Buy and test it immediately and return it if it fails.
Yes
But, the reviews said most of them won't last long and some of them dies on arrival.

I only buy flagship model / brand for electronic gadget now, but get second hand one and they can work for over 18 months.

If you are a Macbook user and the USB dongle is not detecting the keyboard
First of all, This review does not show verified purchase because I got this one from my sister as a gift. I am a Macbook Pro (late 2015) user, and the USB dongle did not recognize the laptop keyboard. It was frustrating, but I figured out the solution. Hope it helps other people.
When you plug in the small usb device to your computer, a dialogue box appears immediately. The box simply says that it cannot detect your keyboard. Just press 'z' (since the prompt asks to press the button right to the (left sided) shift), and it would show that the keyboard is still not detected. At this point, just press skip, and you will be given a chance to manually select your keyboard. Select ANSI, and you are done! Your device should be working. At least mine one is working fine.
I must admit, this is very stupid of the product developers- how can they build something that does not work flawlessly with a popular OS like OS X?

I clicked OK, and not Skip, then never got that pop-up ever gain.
I cannot and will not recommend a product which is not a flagship product and I have not tried it before. If your presentation is crucial to your job, only buy those listed in Apple Store. But if it is not so important, you can try anything.

The above review is not for your current presenter.

Oh, is that a problem with the presenter I was considering??
Oh, is that a problem with the presenter I was considering??
Yes... It is a common problem of such devices which are not certified by Apple.
Technically, such device is only a Bluetooth keyboard which will send specific keys to your Mac when a certain button is pressed.
However, such device might not be detected by OS X and will be only listed as unknown device and you will only work after you have manually configured it.
