Dynamics 2009 AX Batch Queue stuck

The Dynamics 2009 AX Batch Queue has several jobs that are recurring.  They were not running, therefore, other things were not happening Invoices, EDI ASNs transmitted, etc. How can I unstick the queue so that the jobs run.  This is the first time it's happened in a very long time. Usually everything runs without a hitch.

Hello

This could be a few things, need to check the following

1 is the batch in a batch group
2 is the batch group linked to an AOS
3 is the AOS an active batch server
4 is there a scheduled on the batch?

Can you check these first, if unsure how to let me know

1. yes there is a batch group specifically for the invoices.
2. The batch group is linked to a batch server
3. How do I check to see if it's active?
4. A scheduled what?  There are probably 50 or so scheduled jobs that run in that Batch queue.
Under Administration -> setup, server config you will see a tick box to make a AOS batch, also here is a schedule to set an AOS to a batch server over night if needed.

Have you done an AOS restart?? As could also be a lock/block from SQL
We ended up just restarting the AOS, and that got the queues going again.  Thankfully it's a holiday for most of the users.
Ahh so was a lock
