Outlook email encryption Step by step

Hi
I am looking for information on step by step
needed to use outlook email encryption.

Would also like to have it as a template so it could be sent regularly to the receiver.

Hi David.
Thank you for your reply.

As I am very unfamiliar with encryption and certificates, I have a few more questions if you could help me out to clarify and for my understanding .

Some websites I've gone to simply suggest to encrypt an email all I would need to do is go to Options, More Option, select security settings and check encrypt.

Would I still need to use a certificate service for an annual fee or is it possible to just do it using Outlook and no fee for service certificate service.

And I would imagine that both the sender and the recipient would both have to use and pay for the certificate service?

I have also seen on the web references to secure/encryption Outlook add-ons do you have any familiarity with those?
outlook with s/mime require certificates. you could use pretty good privacy (pgp) but again you need to exchange certificates..
a free source of certs is cacert.org but both users have to import the cacert's root certificates into their root certificate authorities store since it is normally not trusted
Thank you
