It probably is because the end of mainstream support of Windows 7? just a guess... so Microsoft may don't want to put more resources to develop or support for new initiatives in this platform.<br />

It probably is because the end of mainstream support of Windows 7? just a guess... so Microsoft may don't want to put more resources to develop or support for new initiatives in this platform.

Trying to create a project from template &quot;Blank App (Universal Windows),&quot; But I get the message:<br />
&quot;You need to be running Windows 10 to open this project. Please update to Windows 10...&quot;<br />

So, is there no workaround to get this to work on Windows 7?

"You need to be running Windows 10 to open this project. Please update to Windows 10..."
