Windows 2012 Standard file server issue
We have this Dell PowerEdge R730xd server running 2012 Standard
It's a file server and it's shared out to all users (RAID5, 10TB SAS drives)
the problem is a folder name problem where our folders are being changed, the change is a missing letter.
Example: the following folder "2303_XXX-project_plan" has been changed to "2303_XXX-project_pla"
so the N is missing. Anyone hear of maybe a malware doing this? any suggestions ?
thanks

Sounds like an OS or an app with a character limit. M
