I have Version 9.5(3)
Apparently, there is a bug within this version where you have to restart the ASA every certain amount of time. I dont remember the exact reason why but something builds up and it eventually stops. I want to upgrade to fix that to whichever version thats fixed in.

Ok, so I will be going from 9.5(3) to 9.6(3)1
The Cisco Bug is that the ASAs will stop passing the traffic after 210 days. Consequently a reboot is needed. That is what Shark Attack gave you. Don't forget that even though you're upgrading your IOS you need to also look at upgrading your ASDM as the version you're running may not support it properly.
When you use the GUI wizard it will prompt you to back it up or a portion of it. This is important especially if you have certificates installed.
So keep that in mind.
