What is the host name that is configured in the application?
Make sure you do not have a typo ...

ASKER

i am using IP-address, not  DNS name.

1)
telnet connectivity is fine with IP .... Not an issue.
===
Connected to 10.80.160.26.
Escape character is '^]'.

2)
But when I disabled OS firewall in Linux-7, it is working.

How come points 1 & 2 are very contrast ?
