Exchange 2013 DAG failing over after backup ?

Hi people,

Last night after the successful backup on one of the primary DAG node in my data center, I can see the Active Database has been changed to the passive server in DR-Site all in a sudden ?

Database copies

PROD-DB01\PRODMBX01-VM
Passive Healthy
Copy queue length: 0
Content index state: Healthy
Suspend | Activate | Remove

PROD-DB01\RECOMBX01-VM
Active Mounted
Copy queue length: 0
Content index state: Healthy

So how can I ensure the failback to the production mailbox server is done with no email lost or email flow problem ?

What would be the impact when I click on Activate button during the business hours.

I already executed:

cluster /prop SameSubnetThreshold=20:DWORD
cluster /prop SameSubnetDelay=2000:DWORD
cluster /prop CrossSubnetThreshold=20:DWORD
cluster /prop CrossSubnetDelay=4000:DWORD
cluster /prop RouteHistoryLength=40:DWORD

Note:
The VMs are running on VMware and the backup software I use is Veeam backup.

Ok I assume there is no outage to the users when I click on Activate in either way ?

Where can I find the HA log ?
My all of my exchange mailbox server contains mixed Active and Passive database.

So there is no way to separate the backup job.

No There would be no outage as it takes hardly 9 -10 seconds to activate so users would not notice this

HA log path

Event Viewer ==>Applications and services logs ==>Microsoft=>ManagedAvalability

Checked for the Recoveraction and Monitoring
Pradeep,

I assume there will be no data loss when I fail over to the primary data center mailbox DB ?

OK, so if I change it into Lossless on the fly, and then click on Activate.

When the queue length is 12+ the DB will be mounted again after the queue length reach 0, hence nothing is lost.

That is correct, users may experience a short disconnect from Outlook client as it activates on the passive database copy.
