Device Connections To Projector

I work at a small catholic school.  We have Epson projectors in our classrooms.  In some rooms we have large screen tvs.  We use PCs, MacBooks, and two different versions of iPads for students/staff.  They vary in age.  We have found that there is no single way to connect to the projector that works for each device.  I am looking for a solution (wireless utility or multiple connectors...iPad (small connector or 30-pin)-to-VGA/HDMI/USB, PC-to-VGA/HDMI/USB) that we could put in each classroom so that little to no instruction time is lost trying to connect student/staff devices to the projector.  Needless to say, finances are a concern.

We are looking at AirServer but does that need to be installed on each device or can it be installed on a single device in the room that would work?  Would a TeamViewer solution work?

Any suggestions would be much appreciated!

The problem with using a device like Chromecast is that the device you connect it to needs an HDMI port.  Our projector does not have that, nor do our MacBooks.

More thoughts?

If you give us the details of the connection options on the Projectors and TVs then we can advise on the options .. without that knowledge we are in the dark somewhat.
Only connection option that exists on ALL projectors is vga.  Some have usb and/or hdmi and some do not.  Some tvs do not have vga.
Oh, but wifi is good.
