Best/easiest way to convert WMA to MP3 files in Windows 10

Hello,

What is the simplest or quickest way to convert wma to mp3 files in Windows 10?

It seems like many places want you to download an app but is that necessary/advisable?

Thanks

Thanks for all the responses.

Great solution Shaun. I do use VLC so that's the best fit in my case.

I just converted several files so for future reference I'm including the detailed steps:

• VLC > Media menu > Convert/Save... (to display Open Media window)

• File tab > File Selection block > Add (to navigate to WMA file to be converted)

• click Convert/Save  (to display Convert window)
in Source block, verify that correct WMA file will be converted
in Settings block > drop down Profile > scroll down to [Audio - MP3]
in Destination block > paste/enter complete/full name* of MP3 file to be created
OR browse to destination folder and specify a filename there

• click Start (progress bar will be displayed during conversion)

Note that if multiple WMA files are in the File Selection area, only the 1st/top file will be affected (by clicking Remove or Convert/Save) regardless of which file is highlighted.

*complete/full name includes directory\filename\.ext
Just adding
you can also use Audacity. Just drop wma onto it then go to file  export selected audio
In the save file as section there is a large selection of choices you could save as Flack as well, imho better suited than vlc and easier.
It's also handy to cut off any long silent starts or endings
