I have Exchange 2007 and I want to enable Outlook Anywhere for the purpose of office 365 Hybrid migration.<br />

On the EMC-Sever Configuration-Client access- when I click Enable Outlook Anywhere<br />

I have put the external host name and it asks to choose the client authentication method &nbsp; .<br />
Basic authentication <br />
OR <br />
NTLM authentication.<br />

Not sure which type of client authentication method to choose. <br />
We don’t have any proxy server in our network and our firewall is hosted outside with another company who maintains it.<br />
So if I choose Basic authentication (default) and if this doesn’t work will I be able to switch back to use NTLM authentication.<br />
Any suggestions will be great!<br />
