problem backing up exchange 2016 server with Yosemite

After a recent update we are experiencing problems backing up our 2016 exchange server with Barracuda Yosemite V10.5.

We have a single Windows 2012 server running 2 x hyperv servers. One being our domain controller and the other is our 2016 exchange server.

When we run the backup on our hyperv master server, both the hyperv host and the domain controller backup ok, but the exchange 2016 server fails.

on looking at the logs we see the following :-

" The statement BACKUP LOG is not allowed while the recovery model is SIMPLE. Use BACKUP DATABASE or change the recovery model using ALTER DATABASE."

My question is how do we change this setting for exchange 2016? ie from SIMPLE to ALTER DATABASE?

Any assistance much appreciated.

Thanks

You were correct, Yosemite does indeed install SQL Express, so we ran a repair install and it resolved the issue.

Many thanks
