Office 2016 Installation

Hello,

Everytime I try and install Office 2016 I am getting an error message that contains the following:-

C:\Windows\System32\npmproxy.dll

Thats as much as I can tell you as this PC is in Beijing and the rest of the error is in Chinese.

Does anyone have any idea whats going on?

Sorry for reply late.

The error message in Chinese is very similar like this one in English, except having different names for application and DLL.

BTW, the Chinese version is translated into a wrong meaning if the original version is in English.

are you using a Chinese version of Windows?

Yup the PC is running a Chinese version. I am guessing I need to repair or reinstall Windows?

not only Windows repair, an Office repair is also required as basically that error message shows the binary code ("image") of the given executable file (DLL or EXE) is corrupt ("bad"), for some reasons.

Office has been repaired a number of times and 3 different downloads have been used and all fail. I appreciate your help.
