404 - File or directory not found on subdirectories\files of website on restored OS
Had a Windows Server 2008 crash, had to reinstall OS.
We're trying to get a basic website that was on the server back up & running. Reinstalled IIS7, created website w\same name as previous. Pointed to previous data directory. Web browsers can get to default.html at the root of the directory, but once we go into subdirectories, are getting "404 - File or directory not found. The resource you are looking for might have been removed, had its name changed, or is temporarily unavailable."
The directories and files exist; wondering if it's a permissions issue?
We've tried granting ServerName$ permissions on the subfolders, but still getting 404 error.

Do the directories and sub-directories exist under the restored data path? If you type in the URL with page you want, do you still get a 404? For example: http://your.servername.com/subdir/default.html
Can you post the http logs from the site?
