SSIS will not connect in SSMS (SQL server 2016 13.0.4001.0)
I have installed SQL Server 2016 with  all the features, but when I open the management studio I am unable to connect to SSIS, all other services are availble and the SSIS  service is running. I read an article which suggested using Dcomcnfg.exe to add users to the permission for integration services which i have done. still unable to connect though

Instead of browsing for servers, try to add the SSIS instance manually.

The error it says that SSIS might not been installed. Did you check if the installation was 100% successfully?
Also check if SSIS service is up and running.

You're using SSMS v17.x, right?

I read somewhere that version of SSMS has issues to connect to SSIS instances of previous versions of SQL Server.
I'll try to find that article but meanwhile you can try to install SSMS v16.5.3 to see if it solves your issue.

Hi Vitor,

SSMS 16.5.3 can be downloaded here, it's about 910MB: http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkID=840946

That has worked for me, many thanks
