You need to set the security permissions on the folder as specified by Dirk.  The IIS identiy user does not have permissions to access this file/folder and is therefore giving the access denied error.  To set the permissions use file explorer and browse to the folder; C:\XAVWSSample\XAVWSSample

Once there, right click on the folder and choose properties.  Go to the security tab and set the permissions to allow IUSR or Everyone with Read access.

i checked the security permission all user has access to it.
I also shared with all users
I am the only one that uses this computer
still getting the error message
is there somewhere eles to change the path then in the properties windows
Quick question... have you registered ASP.NET in Command Prompt (run as Administrator)?
aspnet_regiis -i

Assuming by all user you mean the Users group, you still need to add IUSR or Everyone as the Users group does not include either.
