Win 10 will only see some computers/Servers on domain

Have been struggling with this for a couple of weeks, Win 10 Pro on a domain can only see some PC'S and servers, doesn't even see the domain controller. I have searched and applied the suggested fixes, making sure services were started, removed and rejoined the domain, still nada. I can reach all the computers on the network via \\.

Curious thing did happen when I rejoined the domain. It would not find the domain controller if I just put in the domain name, it would find it if I put in the domainname.local. Dont know if that means anything but most of the time i dont need to add .local

Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

Open Windows Explorer in Windows 10. Click on Network and let it populate (takes a while). Then go to View, Details, Select Columns and add the Discovery Column.

Are you seeing just WDS or both NetBIOS and WDS?

Thanks for the reply!!
I see only WSD and SSDP
Windows 10 does not usually see NetBIOS so that is why. I don't much use network discovery anymore - I just map folders and machines I need. That always works.
Thank you for the heads up I will do that!
