Wireless in laptop no on

It is an older laptop (Asus Z84J) and the wireless is not on. There are two LEDs indicating that. There are no slide switches. It is a Fn-F2 but the Fn-F2 doesn't turn it on. It is an Intel 4965AGN adapter. Is the Fn-F2 a hard switch or is it a keyboard driver?

It use to have XP on it and I upgraded it to Windows 7 a year ago. It is wired so I can't really say when the wireless went out but I do remember the LEDs for the wireless on the laptop iteself were lit and not they aren't.... any ideas?

Gaining on it. It is the ATK Utility. Found a version for Windows 10 64-bit and at least not the Fn-F2 turns on the Wireless LED. But now the wireless icon by the clock is gone...

The adapter is there it is just that you need the Fn-F2 to turn it on and that relies on the ASUS ATK100 utility. Just can't find one for Win 7 X65

Has to be in the ATK0100 driver. XP is as far as Asus went. No driver for WIndows 7. I have noticed this about Asus. They don't do a real good job of supporting their laptops. Thanks guys.
You are very welcome and I was happy to help.
