Best way to secure iPad's for @ work & take home use
I have 6 iPads that our sales team use while at our business. We're going to allow sales members to travel with these devices. Other than just the restricted applications area of settings is there another way to control what apps are installed and/or accessed?
My first thought is to manual input DNS settings within the devices using services offered by OpenDNS. Simply add specific sites/IP's we want to be accessed. However, OpenDNS requires the authorization of a single IP from my experience and I'd need to authorize per device. Of course, if a user is smart enough they could remove these settings unless there is a way to lock them out of such areas.
Ideally, it would be nice to centrally manage the tablets. However, with only 6 I don't know if that is necessarily worth it.
