Cisco router and networking question

I have a laptop directly connected to router, once the packet is reach out to router, it is sending to gatway and gateway is dropping the packet, but if I sent packet to gateway from laptop directly, the packet is going to destination. Do you think some how source IP or anything changed by router, that is why gateway is dropping/blocking the packet?

Need more info. What's the gateway? Who's in control of it?
What's the router, who is in control of it.

Most probably the router isn't configured correctly. If you are sure it is, and the gateway is not under your control, it could be a MAC address security feature (in the past I've seen ISP lock in, and only release MAC address protection after 15 minutes or so after detecting a new device)

I concur with this. You also could call the ISP and have them clear out the MAC address of your laptop. so that you can connect the router again (since you seem to be so sure the traffic is reaching the gateway properly).
