Can transition/animations effects be captured in a PDF document

My answer to the question above as posed me is NO because PDFs are not designed to do this. However, I am very open to being proved wrong.. :-) Can a Powerpoint presentation be saved as a PDF in a way that it retains the transition and animation effects? If so, how. Thanks.

I wanted to see if there was something native to Powerpoint I could use. Looks as though the GitHub option above offers the closest thing. Let me check this out.

I had a look at these...do you know of anything that can save Transitions rather than Animations to a PDF in Powerpoint?

Turns out that there is an answer to it but requires the use of  third party software.
