How to fix Sherpoint 2013 Central Administration Site
Whenever I try to launch the SharePoint 2013 Central Administration, I now get "An unexpected error has occurred" message in my browser and we can't access the sharepoint site any longer. This never happened until I tried to run the SharePoint 2013 Products Configuration Wizard, which gives me this error message...
"Failed to initiate the upgrade sequence.

I need to get this site back online by Monday.

I tried running the wizard in Admin mode, but still got the same error. I read the link you sent me, just a little nervous about deleting all the XML files as described in the instructions. Only because my error message is different than what is described in the link. I'm getting desperate so I'll give it a try.
