Getting GMail to work in Thunderbird
I can not find, for the life of me, how to get Thunderbird to update my GMail password. I needed to change the password, and GMail blocks me from using an old password, so I can not solve the problem by going back to the ld one.
I can not get it to update properly.
I am sometimes presented with a GMail login window where the "Next" button does nothing, even tough I enter the correct email address.
So, how do I explicitly set the password for an existing email account on Thunderbird?
Thanks.

This window pops up and does not respond to Next, either when I put my correct email address in the or the correct phone number for my account.

I just turned two step OFF, but it still failed on Thunderbird. The Google log-in fails.

I logged into GMail but was not greeted with any special questions.
IF I delete that mailbox from Thunderbird, then re-add it from scratch, will I get all the same emails back? My worry is that I can not log in, for some reason, and would lose those emails.
Is there a way to back them all up?
