One of my users is using Outlook 2011 on Mac with Exchange email account (Office 365). He has text based signature configured to appear in each email he sends. <br />
We noticed that when people receive his emails the fonts are not the same size he used for composing emails. He used to size 8 Verdana for text and email but now we changed it to size 11 Verdana. Saved the settings and closed and reopened Outlook. When composing email it all looks fine. When I received his emails on Outlook 2016 Windows the fonts changed size 8 to size 6 and from size 11 to 8.5. We also checked some of his emails to which people replied and the fonts there vary from 8.5 to 12, but we don't know what email software recipients are using. We checked it in user's Sent items and it is fine there. <br />
It looks like the emails this user is sending are all plain texts, at least the ones I saw. &nbsp;<br />
As far as I am concerned all of the updated for Outlook 20111 and his Mac are installed. <br />
<br />
Is this just the way Mac &quot;likes&quot; the rest of the world or can we make sure that his emails are displayed properly?<br />

Email body font changing when sent from Outlook 2011 on Mac

An email client, email reader or more formally mail user agent (MUA) is a computer program in the category of groupware environments used to access and manage a user's email. A web application that provides message management, composition, and reception functions may internally act as an email client; as a whole, it is commonly referred to as webmail. Microsoft Outlook is a personal information manager from Microsoft, available as a part of the Microsoft Office suite. Although often used mainly as an email application, it also includes a calendar, task manager, contact manager, note-taker, journal, and web browser.

Outlook

A font is a particular size, weight and style of a typeface. Each font is a matched set of type, one piece (called a "sort") for each glyph, and a typeface consists of a range of fonts that share an overall design. With the advent of digital typography, font is frequently synonymous with typeface, although the two terms do not necessarily mean the same thing. In particular, the use of "vector" or "outline" fonts means that different sizes of a typeface can be dynamically generated from one design. Each style may still be in a separate "font file" -- for instance, the typeface "Futura" may include the fonts "Futura roman", "Futura italic", "Futura bold" and "Futura extended" —- but the term "font" might be applied either to one of these alone or to the whole typeface.
