SSIS Error Message Connecting to DB2
ODBC setup successful; however, connecting from SSIS using ODBC trigger the following error message.
Error [42968][IBM][CLI Driver] SQL1598N. An attempt to connect to the database server failed because of a licensing problem. SQLSTATE=42968.

I'm connecting using SSIS inside visual studio 2010.
I need to findout the version of DB2. Must they have to be running same version?

There's a lot of latitude in the DB2 version, but it makes a difference if you're connecting to a mainframe (Z/OS), Windows, linux, AS400, etc.

Can you tell us what release of DB2 you're running and what kind of server (mainframe, Windows, linux, etc.)
