Can a RV110w be an access point

I have a cable connected to its wan port from a router with broadband


Should it be in one of the 4 other ports of its an access point ?

A customer bought this

Ok so you don't use the WAN port on the Cisco RV box as I suspected

There is no setting for access point on the box

I know where I'm going with this now

Have config access points beofre, just not this one

No, do not use the WAN port.

It is a standard router so there is no "Access Point" setting.

However, it will work as an Access Point and just configure as I noted above. I am working on this laptop using Wi-Fi from a Cisco 134AC router hooked up just as I noted. Works fine.

Can I ask What are WAN Porte used for on routers (usually red)

He other 4 usually being for LAN
