Hi Andrew
I have already tried several open vmware tools open iso's from vmware, and it did not fix the problem.
Several chat groups do not like DSL and it appears Damn Small Linux is not stable as a vm in vSphere or VMware Workstation
and it takes a lot of messing around for DSL to get it to work, and I just don't have that amount of time since I am trying to finish a vmlab.
However I may be able to substitute Xubuntu which is a lot easier to install vmware tools using apt-get and possibly GNU\Linux .
I wish people who use these flavors of Linux like DSL would stop because it's Not going any place, its not even a good learning tool, and only stay with what is already proven.
Thanks Just the same. And have a great day

That sounds like a Great Idea. However I do have to think of a nice way to tell the instructor of the course.
Are Open VM Tools available ?
see my EE Article as an example
