Exchange Kerberos module keeps trying to load in IIS after Exchange is gone...

I keep getting the following errors in my Event log:

The Module DLL D:\Program Files\Microsoft\Exchange Server\V14\Bin\kerbauth.dll failed to load.  The data is the error.

However, Exchange was uninstalled a long time ago AND I removed the <add name="kerbauth" image="D:\Program Files\Microsoft\Exchange Server\V14\Bin\kerbauth.dll" /> line from my "applicationHost" file and I still get those errors (even after an IISRESET). What gives? I think it's causing some other services I am trying to setup (WebDAV) to not work.

Hi,

Which installation path you given when you re-install the Exchange? Is it still in D:\Program Files? or somthing else? If it's C or some other drive then you need to amend the config file according to the installation path. I.e - You need to add the <add name="kerbauth" image="D:\Program Files\Microsoft\Exchange Server\V14\Bin\kerbauth.dll" with appropriate dll path.

Is the kerbauth.dll present in D:\Program Files\Microsoft\Exchange Server\V14\Bin? if not, locate the appropriate installation location (Probably in C:\Program files\Microsoft\Exchange\Exchange Server\V14\Bin) and add it in config file accordingly (C:\Windows\System32\inetsrv\config).

Perform an iisreset and see if still you are getting the error?

It used to be in D: but Exchange was uninstalled a long time ago. It's no longer there.
So, exchange server is no longer running on that server isn't? Is the exchange site also removed from IIS? (it should be as part of exchange uninstallation), but make sure still left out any entries includes some AppPools?
Only the default site was left. There was an Exchange App pool but I deleted that and reset IIS. No dice.
Okay. Is this 64 bit server now? if so, can you look at C:\Windows\SysWOW64\inetsrv\Config\ and remove the same entry and see if it makes any difference?
Already removed.
I just completed deleted and reinstalled IIS. Seems to have fixed it.
