I have Lenovo x3650 M5 with a M5210 raid controller. I currently have two 300GB HDD, hence configure Raid-1.<br />
<br />
If later I want to add three more HDDs to the current server and configure Raid-5, which means two HDDs - Raid1 and three HDDs - Raid5.<br />

Is this allowed on the Lenovo server?<br />

We are not doing raid expansion.

Multiple Raid

RAID stands for Redundant Array of Independent Disks.

RAID is data storage technology that allows multiple drives to be used together as a single virtual drive for reasons such as fault tolerance, reliability and performance. 

There are several different levels of RAID that determine how the data is stored and the level of redundancy achieved across the drives.
