BackupPC no longer starting on Debian Jessie

Hello everyone.

I was using backuppc for some months without any issue but now it will not start anymore.

I get this error:
systemctl status backuppc.service -l

What are the troubleshooting and fixing steps I should follow?

Thanks!

Can't create a test hardlink between a file in /var/lib/backuppc/pc and /var/lib/backuppc/cpool.
The error message is basically telling you to check for these.

Maybe you need to reinstall backuppc.
