Please forgive my complete lack of SQL experience.<br />

I have a new DELL R230 and purchased SQL Server 2014 with it. (634-BCEL : Microsoft SQL Server 2014 Standard, 4 CORE,OEM, NFI, With 20 12 Media, ENG)<br />
It<i> looks as though</i> it is not &quot;pre-installed&quot; but I have the media.<br />

Right now the only program installed is Veeam backup which installed SQL Server Express alongside. <br />

The full version of SQL 2014 is required for a 3rd party. They want install their product after I have SQL 2014 Standard installed.<br />
Will it show up as it's own instance, functionally independent of Express?<br />
