Hp p2035
Try the cable from another similar printer which works.
Go here https://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers/selfservice/hp-laserjet-p2035-printer-series/3662025 and get the drivers.
With the printer disconnected install the software and then reconnect the printer afterwards.
You may have to specify your Operating System but HP may actually detect it.

Make sure the printer is not connected to the PC VIA USB port.
Go to Device Manager
Click Universal Serial Bus Controllers
Now connect the printer via USB
Check which item is added to Serial Bus Controllers. for example: USB Printing support.
Right click on it.
Click Uninstall
Then Reboot computer while USB cable is inserted in USB port.
