Avaya IP Office Phone Connectivity Issue

I don't much about the Avaya IP-Office 500.  I've attached some pics that may help.  The first pic is the blue cable that connects to the phone but is no longer providing service.
During our rack equipment move, we may have re plugged in one cable on the IP Office in the wrong port.  I'm not sure if that matters as I'm not proficient in PBX.  I had one of the staff members mark cables based on what phone goes out if we unplug it.  I'm not sure if that's done yet.  I left for another meeting.
Anyway, are the patch cables placement very fickle for the IP-Office?  We may have accidentally plugged in one cable to the wrong port when moving things and that caused the phone to no longer light up.   Sorry, I'm walking blind here.  I would greatly appreciate some feedback.

If one is to rely on the notations, port 2. On the avaya ip-500 does not seem to have anything plugged. Double check that the cable is plugged in there and us secure' if not, use a line tracer plug into the port in the wall, and trace the wire in the telco room ....

Position 2on the avaya ip-500 is obscured, by image there does not appear to ve a cable going .....
Check on the avaya ip-500 settings to see port 2, IMHO, bring a phone directly into the telco room, and plug it directly into port 2 to confirm it works.

What was being done, check trying to see if the issue is with the wire being severed, ......

If you plug in a phone into the other unused ports, does it require config to define/set the extension, if port 2 is somehow no longer world, see if it can be switched to another......

Your punch panels, A, B do you have an unlabeled one that has port 2 unused?
See if there is a blue cable plugged into a network switch that is not illuminated,
Plug a computer into port replacing the blue wire, see if it gets an ip.

The ID tags on the ip avaya meaning? Records ?
