Hi Expert, Please see the attached screenshot. I am installing Solarwinds. but I got an error message. I do not know what SQL server name is to fill the SQL server name. I tried different name including the computer name. During the process of installation, I follow the steps to install, which include automatic SQL installation. Did I miss some step or wrong? Thank you

Did you install the SQL server at the same server or different server?

If it is the same server, you need to abort the installation, restart the server and install the SQL server in another server within the same local network.

Thank you so much for your reply. I have not install SQL server. I did not think it needs to install another SQL because Solarwinds itself has SQL. Do you think so? This solarwinds name is Solarwinds-Orion-10.0S-P1SLX

You need a SQL server or it will not work.

Solarwinds itself has SQL. Yes. But you need to install it in another server in the first place.

I use this version: SolarWinds-Orion-10.0-SP1-SLX
I did not noticed there is SQL inside it during the installation. Do you think there is a SQL inside it? Thank you

Why you are using this version of installer for Solarwinds? How did you obtain the installer?

It is outdated and there is no SQL server in your installer.

You need to go to the developer's website to request a trial. The trial will work for 30 days.

Do not use a cracked version of any installer you found online as you never know whether a malware has been injected into it.
