MS Dynamics 2016
Hello- I have recently gotten involved with our new MS Dynamics 2016 rollout for our sales teams and I am just kind of feeling my way through the many screens, etc. I have one issue that I have inherited that I could use a little help troubleshooting. We have two regional presidents. Sales managers and sales team members are ultimately roll-up to these two presidents. The way it has been explained to me is that when the presidents go into dynamics they have access to an 'exectuve view' (dashboard?) and one of the combo boxes on that view is 'My Open Opportunites'. When the president selects 'My Open Opportunites' he is supposed to see ALL of the open opportunities in his region, from all sales team members. This is working correctly for President A, but when President B looks at this screen there are no results. Can someone point me in the right direction on what permission to check for President B in comparision to the settings for President A so that I might see if this can be corrected? I have much to learn in the weeks ahead about all this but if I could get this little issue corrected it would be a great start! Thanks for any help! -

First and foremost, check President B's Security role. It should be BU level I think. And his BU should be on the same level as given to President A. You will see this information on User Profile/Systemuser entity
