asked on

is there any software that I can use to preview my bootstrap page ?

I am using front page to write my html code for bootstrap, but everytime I use the 'preview', it gives me script errors and the page doesn't shows as it should.  I have to upload it in order to see the result or changes. Is there any way that I can overcome this situation, like another software or download something in able to 'preview it without uploading the page'

Tnx

@ Nicholas
I am not here to promote Dreamweaver or teach wrong practices... the question was that how can I be able to 'preview it without uploading the page'... as stated above by @lenamtl ... if the page is HTML then it  needs only a browser...

I suggested Dreamweaver as it has the page displayed in the same window as CODE / DESIGN / CODE + DESIGN view... so it will be easier.

as you said notepad++ is good, I too use it ... but it will not solve the problem of looking at the page when coding or previewing it without uploading.

As sugggested by @David Johnson, webmatrix is also a good option.

As per my knowledge even brackets does not have a preview option (I see there are some plugins but not sure)

And the most agreeable was that Frontpage should be dumped :)

DW's preview window should not be trusted
Notepad has an extension to add a preview window if needed, tho clicking save and then F5 in the browser is hardly taxing (in fact Notepad has a rake of extensions you could use like auto complete etc)
