Windows Server 2016 Essentials Edition as virtual Remote Desktop Server advice
Hi,
I would like to create a Windows 2016 remote desktop server as a virtual machine running on Windows Hyper-V Server 2012.
The machine will join the domain a member server with other servers
It seems that Windows 2016 Server Essential Edition would be the cheapest way to do it because it does not require Windows Client Access Licenses.
I am wary of low level restricted Small Business type licenses. What is your experience using
a) Windows 2016 Server Essential Edition as Virtual Machine?

Essential is a equivalent to Small Business Server with single Master domain schema, so it must be a single DC and can;t be joined to other domain.
